As a passionate entrepreneur, the founder of Management Circle loves to try new things, develop creative business ideas and, of course, take risks along the way. An enthusiastic opera fan, she views it as a privilege still to head up the company she founded, and to exchange ideas with colleagues, receive valuable suggestions and help shape change.
In addition to her role on the board of Management Circle, Sigrid Bauschert also demonstrates great social commitment. She is a member of the honorary Board of Trustees of the NCL Foundation, helping raise awareness of childhood dementia. Also as a member of the Board of Trustees, she supports the Association of Friends and Sponsors of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V.. She is also a member of Atlantik-Brücke e.V. and the Wirtschaftsclub Rhein-Main e.V. business club.
A lawyer by profession, Peter Burkhardt joined Management Circle in its founding year and has been an indispensable part of the management team since 2001. As a long-standing member and supporter of the company, the event expert knows how to track down new and relevant topics and turn them into exciting seminars, conferences and other event formats. A team player, he gets his inspiration from constructive discussions with his employees, partners and customers. He also likes to recharge his batteries on cycling tours with his wife and friends. His greatest motivation is to be able to offer you the best training opportunities for your next career step, even in today’s rapidly-changing markets.
As an event marketing specialist, Jutta Wolf has been part of the Management Circle team for more than 25 years and managing director since 2001. She loves working with people and has made it her mission to advance the company together with strong teams. An open-minded team player, Jutta has a constant eye on the decisive advantages of knowledge, as well as profitable networks – because that is what Management Circle strives to stand for, now and in the future. Energetic and forceful, Jutta keeps a cool head by getting into her hiking boots as often as possible and enjoying the mountains – also on her own.
Business Manager Darko Sucec has been an important part of Management Circle since 2005, responsible for finance and accounting. An enthusiastic footballer in his spare time, the “facts and figures” expert values trusted cooperation in particular, so he especially appreciates the healthy work environment at Management Circle. Looking to the coming years, he believes that ongoing professional development will continue to play an important role in society in the future.
The newest member of our management team has been with Management Circle since February 2000. With his ready smile and good humour, Michael enjoys human interaction both in his professional and private life. His strengths include listening, asking questions, evaluating, pointing out opportunities and exploring new paths. With his motivated sales team and interested cooperation partners, he develops creative partner programmes and event formats. A sports enthusiast and travel fan, he loves adventures and new challenges, and wants to create top-level event experiences using the most advanced technical possibilities.

We’re in our thirties! Over 30 years ago – in July 1989, to be precise – Sigrid Bauschert founded Management Circle AG under the premise that has held to the present day: Education for the Best“. Since then, a great deal has happened...
But what, exactly? For instance, what was the first event we held? And what exciting facts and background information about Management Circle might be of interest to you? Right here, we share with you a glimpse of the corporate history of Management Circle AG and its employees.
We celebrate our 30th anniversary with a party the likes of which have rarely been seen even by event professionals such as ourselves! Employees, associates and partners of Management Circle are invited.
We thank everyone for 30 years of "Education for the Best"!
And did you know? In these 30 years, we have trained more than 60 apprentices, mostly in event organisation, and employed the majority of them. Some of them have been with Management Circle for more than 10 years – one of them for nearly 20 years.
On January 15, 2017 we move into our new building at 36, Duesseldorfer Street in Eschborn, outside Frankfurt. The modern, generously-designed offices afford plenty of room for creative teamwork and a lively exchange, which we use to develop more innovative products for you.
Fun Fact: Some rooms have been given names by the employees, so we not only have a “Think Tank” but also a “Space” and a “Casino”.
In this year, the first article appears in the new Management Circle Blog – in the meantime, it now fields a wide variety of news, exciting expert interviews and practical checklists across more than 15 topic areas for our blog fans.
With IP Service World, we create a meeting place for IP management executives and decision-makers. The event has meanwhile developed into Europe's largest exhibition and congress for IP management, with more than 80 exhibitors and over 600 participants from all over the world.
We offer our first distance learning course – the topic: accounting according to IFRS. To date, this flexible course has more than proved its worth, giving attendees a free hand in terms of where and when they learn. We currently offer around 15 courses on our online learning platform.
We design our first digital product in March 2001 – it’s all about the most important applications on the internet. Today, with our webinars, online seminars and our new Leadership Academy, we offer numerous products that allow you to advance your continuing education conveniently at any time via smartphone, tablet or PC.
A new star is born! The first CCW takes place from February 22 to 24, 1999 with 900 visitors and 46 exhibitors. More than 20 years later, we are proud that the international congress and exhibition is the leading event for innovative customer dialogue with around 8,000 visitors and 270 exhibitors from 46 countries every year.
Legendary: The CCW parties attract attendees to celebrate every year, with terrific mottos such as Hollywood, RusticMountainHut or Circus Spectacular.
Germany's most important event on lean management is born in 1998 with Production Systems. At the beginning, we welcome over 100 visitors, and we are thrilled that more than 20 years later, over twice as many people regard the exchange as an indispensable event on their calendar every year.
By the way: In the same year, we also hold our first INHOUSE Schulung, customised to the needs of our client, of course.
Eight years after the start, we break through the 1,000 mark for the first time, holding around 1,200 events for our clients.

Absolutely true: In the final exam of a creative seminar, participants once threw eggs out of the 3rd-floor window of their conference hotel – fortunately, they checked beforehand that no-one was walking along the pavement below!
In its first full business year, Management Circle already organises 100 dates for various events.
Management Circle is launched on July 2, 1989. Together with four other event professionals, founder and current board member Sigrid Bauschert plunges into the conceptualisation of the first events – and already in the first year, organises nine events with up to 100 participants each. The first conference takes place in November 1989 – a meeting around the topic of financial controlling.
Nice to know: Four of the original employees from the founding year still work for Management Circle today!
